Design and Feasibility of an International Study Assessing the Prevalence of Contact Allergy to Fragrances in the General Population: The European Dermato-Epidemiology Network Fragrance Study


This first article from the RIFM sponsored epidemiology study on the true prevalence of fragrance allergy, describes the method developed and validated by the European Dermato-Epidemiology Network (EDEN). This process was needed prior to beginning the full study. The Expert Panel, after reviewing the data, encouraged EDEN to publish the methodology as it is the first time that it was standardized throughout multiple centers in a region.
