Advancing RIFM’s environmental science at SETAC North America

10.17.24

The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials’ Principal Scientist for Environmental Safety, Aurelia Lapczynski, will participate at the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) North America 45th Annual Meeting from October 20 through 24, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Lapczynski will present on “Data-driven decision-making using advanced high-throughput environmental risk assessment of fragrance materials” during the Not Just Another NAM: Integrated, Intelligent, and Iterative Approaches to Ecological Risk Assessment session on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM Central Daylight Time (CDT).

“I’m very excited for yet another opportunity to share how RIFM conducts the environmental risk assessment of fragrance materials,” Lapczynski said, “including animal-free new alternative methodologies, or NAMs, as covered in our updated Environmental Framework.”
