The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials’ Senior Scientist for Respiratory Toxicology, Nikaeta Sadekar, PhD, DABT, will participate at the 2024 One Asia Cosmetics and Beauty Forum from October 17 to 19, 2024, in Seoul, Korea.

Dr. Sadekar will present on “RIFM Respiratory Safety Assessment Program: Tiered Evaluation of Inhalation Exposure to Fragrance Ingredients” during the 2024 International Symposium for Risk Assessment on Cosmetic Products on Friday, October 18th, from 10:50 to 11:30 AM Korean Standard Time (KST). In addition to highlighting RIFM’s local respiratory toxicity safety assessment process, Dr. Sadekar will share details on respiratory research projects that are currently in progress.

“The annual One Asia Cosmetics and Beauty Forum held by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of Korea seeks to strengthen innovation and cooperative relations among participating countries,” Dr. Sadekar explained. “This year’s theme focuses on Cosmetics Regulation and Safety Management. It is an honor to present RIFM’s Respiratory Program at this international event, and I am excited and looking forward to building RIFM’s collaborative network.”
