Advancing RIFM’s science for the Society of Exposure Science

10.16.24

The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials’ Principal Scientist for Dermatotoxicology, Gretchen Ritacco, MS, will participate at the International Society of Exposure Science’s 2024 Annual Meeting from October 20 to 24, 2024, in Montreal, Canada.

MS Ritacco will be on hand to answer attendee questions about the poster “A State-of-the-Art Aggregate Exposure Model Provides Realistic Estimates for Fragrance Ingredients; Exposure in Consumer Products is Many Orders of Magnitude Below Thresholds of Concern” during the poster session on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 2:45 to 4:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

“This is the first time anyone from RIFM has attended this conference,” MS Ritacco explained. “It’s a great opportunity to communicate our important work demonstrating how low consumers’ exposure to fragrance materials is to a brand-new audience.”

Related: Principal Scientist Gretchen Ritacco, MS, and Senior Scientist Isabelle Lee, PhD, will present on the strength of real-world fragrance exposure, with presentations on the Creme RIFM Aggregate Exposure Model and the findings of the collaborative Low Exposure Paper at  RIFM’s 3rd Annual Science Symposium
