Forceps probing a bright flower held by a hand in a medical glove

Connect with RIFM’s most valuable resource: its people

3.29.22

They come from all walks of life, from around the country and all over the world. They include specialists in toxicology, chemistry, environmental science, engineering, data management, science writing, human resources, and daily operations. Some have been with RIFM for decades; a few joined us last year.

These are the people working behind the scenes on the science, data management, quality control, and content distribution that helps to ensure the continued safe use of fragrances. Now working from home, their output hasn’t let up: there are currently 1074 discrete synthetic materials with Expert Panel-approved safety assessments on the RIFM Database.
