New Tool: Access MAC Values via the RIFM Member Dashboard

3.11.26

We have heard our Members’ requests and are pleased to announce the launch of our new MAC Values Dashboard, a centralized hub for Maximum Acceptable Concentration (MAC) values.

Comprehensive Data Coverage:

The dashboard provides visibility into all MAC values derived from our safety assessments, including the many that do not result in an IFRA Standard. Values linked to an existing IFRA Standard are clearly identified.

Key Benefits of the New Dashboard:

  • Centralized Access: No more digging through individual assessments; find what you need in one place.
  • Enhanced Transparency: Streamline your internal risk management and formulation decisions.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Facilitate faster compliance with global safety practices.

Ongoing Updates and Opportunities:

As exposure patterns evolve and new data emerge, the dashboard will continuously display updated MAC values. This ensures long-term safety assurance while also unlocking opportunities, such as higher allowable use levels when exposure decreases; ultimately, helping companies regain margin, flexibility, and creative space.

How to Access: The dashboard is now live and available via the Tools and Models section of the RIFM Database. (Requires login.) We encourage you to explore the platform and integrate it into your regulatory workflows.

Questions or a Walkthrough? If you have any questions or would like a brief guided tour of the features, please reach out to our team. Thank you for your continued commitment to advancing fragrance safety.
