For perfumers, that science supports confident creation and the continued safe use of ingredients across the perfumer’s palette. For regulatory professionals, it provides the scientific foundation behind the safety information, Maximum Acceptable Concentrations, or MAC values, and IFRA Standards used to guide safe use.
Join the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials and the American Society of Perfumers for a morning designed for fragrance formulators and those who help bring them to market responsibly. Following breakfast and networking with industry colleagues, RIFM President Anne Marie Api, PhD, Fellow ATS, and RIFM Director of Scientific Operations Danielle Botelho, PhD, will connect the ingredients on the perfumer’s palette with the exposure science, safety assessments, and MAC values that support their safe use.
After the presentation, fragrance suppliers will showcase replacement solutions for raw materials facing regulation. Perfumers and regulatory colleagues will have an opportunity to explore alternatives, ask questions, and exchange ideas with others working across the fragrance industry.
