RIFM Scientists awarded New Investigator Poster Award at EMGS 2018 Annual Meeting

Congratulations to RIFM Scientist Yax Thakkar, whose work was recognized at The Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EMGS) 2018 Annual Meeting. Yax concentrates on human health safety, with a focus on genotoxicity studies. EMGS awarded Yax and his co-author, RIFM Scientist Kaushal Joshi, PhD, a Second Place New Investigator Poster Award for their outstanding poster presentation “Utilization of 3D Skin Micronucleus and Comet Assay as an animal alternative model for genotoxicity positive materials in traditional in vitro studies: A Case Study.”
