A new video spotlighting the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) will be featured during the Society of Toxicology’s (SOT’s) Virtual Meeting & ToxExpo, March 12-26, 2021.
The video highlights RIFM’s international influence and collaborative work across industry, academia, and regulatory agencies. The video also underscores RIFM’s long-standing commitment to fragrance safety through innovative non-animal testing and methodologies.
More than 7,000 expected attendees will see the 6-minute video at SOT’s 2021 meeting. Additionally, SOT plans to share the video via its digital and social media ecosystem.

Additionally, Dr. Nikaeta Sadekar, RIFM’s Lead Respiratory Toxicology Scientist, will present at the workshop session In Vitro Inhalation Exposure for Regulatory Acceptance. Dr. Sadekar’s presentation will focus on using realistic exposure values from computer models, such as the Creme-RIFM Aggregate Exposure Model, to make in vitro (cell culture) testing comparable to actual human exposure scenarios. Dr. Sadekar presents on Monday, March 15, from 11:15 AM–2:00 PM. See a detailed program schedule.
