Forceps probing a bright flower held by a hand in a medical glove

You’re invited to the Creme-RIFM Collaborative Exposure Efforts Reception at SOT!

2.12.24

What: Research Institute for Fragrance Materials and Creme Global Collaborative Exposure Efforts Reception

When: Monday, March 11, 4:30-6:00 PM MST

Where: Topaz Room, Hilton Salt Lake City Center (255 South West Temple)

The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) and Creme Global developed the Creme-RIFM Aggregate Exposure Model to refine risk assessment using real-world industry production and habits & practices data from consumers in Europe, North America, and Asia.

The Creme-RIFM Model estimates a person’s total potential exposure to a fragrance ingredient from all fragranced products, significantly improving exposure-based hazard and risk assessment.

This collaboration between Creme, RIFM, and the worldwide fragrance industry set new standards for safety evaluation. It can serve as a template for toxicologists and other safety stewards looking to refine their understanding of hazard and risk in their sectors.

Join us at this free Society of Toxicology (SOT) ancillary meeting to meet scientists Anne Marie Api, Gretchen Ritacco, and Isabelle Lee from RIFM and Brendan Ring and Cronan McNamara from Creme Global and talk with them about their collaborative efforts. We’d love to share knowledge and experience with you.
