RIFM seeks industry experts for a new Chemistry Core Team

6.26.23

As mentioned during last week’s 2023 Q2 Update webinar (view a recording here), RIFM seeks industry experts to join a newly formed Chemistry Core Team.

RIFM Core Team members advise and consult on strategic issues related to RIFM’s goals. Made up of fragrance industry science leaders and RIFM staff who are experts in their team’s area of focus, Core Teams operate under the RIFM bylaws and follow an agreed-upon charter with a current, valid mandate. (Click here for a list of all current Core Teams and their members.)

The eight to 10 members chosen for the Chemistry Core Team will specifically advise and consult on substance identification of fragrance materials for the RIFM Safety Assessment program and help identify materials suppliers for test samples selected by RIFM.

Core team members must be chemistry and substance identification experts substantiated by a CV and selected by RIFM.

Experts must be employees or consultants of a RIFM member company (no more than one per company) and agree to the RIFM confidentiality policy.

Chemistry Core Team members will meet a minimum of eight times per year.

If you are interested in joining RIFM’s Chemistry Core Team or know someone who may be interested and who fits the criteria outlined above, please get in touch with Danielle Botelho at dbotelho@rifm.org for more information.
