Supporting skin sensitization risk assessment using in silico tools
The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) recently collaborated with chemical safety software developers Lhasa Limited and other independent experts on expanding a data set for the Dermal Sensitization Thresholds (DSTs). DSTs are exposure levels below which there is a minimal risk for skin sensitization used to determine a safe level of skin exposure for a fragrance ingredient when no studies meet international standards.
In this upcoming webinar, RIFM Vice President Anne Marie Api will join Lhasa Principal Scientist Martyn Chilton to detail this critical collaborative work. Raeesah Saddiq, Lhasa Business Partnerships Manager, will also provide a short demonstration of how Lhasa’s in silico tools can support a skin sensitization risk assessment.
This virtual webinar runs from 8:00 AM EDT to 10:00 AM EDT on Tuesday, September 27, and will include a Q&A session.
